About the role
Align Right Technologies is a Managed IT Service Provider (MSP) that helps growing businesses identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency. Align Right delivers managed IT services along with cloud services, network security, backup and recovery, and business phone systems, with a strong focus on transparent pricing and long term client relationships. Align Right Technologies is hiring a Sales Representative in the Cincinnati area to sell managed IT services and technology solutions directly to businesses. In this position you will own the full sales process and be instrumental in helping Align Right and its clients achieve continued revenue growth. This is a field based role with a day travel expectation of up to 75%, spending the majority of your time face to face with prospects and clients. To be successful in this position you need to be highly motivated, extremely confident, a self-starter with a positive attitude, and possess strong communications, relationship building, and time management skills.
Essential functions
- Comfortable being in a “hunter” sales role bringing on new clients
- Handle all sales tasks from prospecting and lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Assess client needs and create and sell solutions to address them
- Build, grow, and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and partners throughout the Cincinnati market
- Travel locally and regionally on a day travel basis to meet with prospects and clients in person
- Oversee and coordinate individual sales activities
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
- Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
- Leverage CRM reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and present KPIs and metrics
- Have a firm understanding of the sales process for a large solution sale
- Experience and ability to work in CRM
- Any other duties as assigned

Work environment
The team member will regularly work in the field visiting client and prospect locations and may occasionally come into contact with fumes or airborne particles; may regularly work near outdoor weather conditions; the team member will regularly drive to and from client meetings;

Travel required
Willingness to travel up to 75% on a day travel basis throughout the Cincinnati area and surrounding region to meet with prospects, clients and partners and to attend conferences and events
Preferred skills, education and experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- A minimum of 4+ years of B2B sales experience with full sales cycle ownership
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Aptitude to encourage prospect customers to invest in their own success
